Pre-Order Thread

Anyone know anything about this one?

EDIT: Well, here's a tracklist and it's kinda WOW

Here’s a little more via CoS (yes, I know, eyeroll) but it also has a link to the Kurt Vile track.

Edit: I’m kind of into this album, at least conceptually. Particularly the Stipe track. I swear I thought he had a whole solo album in the works and I’m stiiiiiiill waiting, Michael.

Grizzly Bear's Yellow House is getting a re-press. Available on 2xLP (clear or black) for $28, and it sounds as though a VMP variant (custard) will be announced within the hour.

I ask again, does anybody know if Kevin Morby's Mare imprint on Woodsist has folded? Shannon Lay was one of his first releases, but she seemed to move on from it pretty quickly. After 4-5 records Mare seemed to go dormant.

I think he only wanted to release artists' debuts on it, if I remember correctly.

TBH, The fact that I am familiar with every contributing artist makes this a great covers comp. I don’t know if I will end up purchasing it on vinyl but I will definitely add it to my digital collection for sure.

A plug for my Alabama buddies...

Williamson Brothers (Blake and Adam) are the rhythm section in Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires.

Their thing does not sound like that thing...

Mike Patton (Drive-By Truckers, Dexateens) produced and he and Jay Gonzales (Drive-By Truckers) contribute bass and keys.

Damn you.
