Texas sage (a shrub, not actual sage) is the barometer bush- it blooms brilliantly and quickly everytime we get a thunderstorm in the summer. the smell is kinda sweet and herbaceous, and that combined with the rain smell is high on my list.

this week's nails are dark olive green with gold flakes. this is all ya get cause it's near impossible to capture the dimension with indoor lighting, and I'm too lazy to make another gif right now.

These threads make me think yall are dangerously close to becoming conspiracy theorists
Is the line between clue and not-clue getting too blurry?

I DON’T KNOW MAN YOU TELL ME

H'OKAY! I'm going to explain the clues for all the confused people doodling in the back of the class later this evening. aaaand then, I'm going to tell you some things with my WHOLE HEART tomorrow or Friday about this choice.

for now, I'll leave this quote from the band about this album- it really sums up my reasoning for this choice better than whatever words I'll vomit later.
"this is meant to be an anthem to quell your life crisis and usher your state of uncertainty and/or panic into one of joyful resistance and a love of our magical existence."

for fun, here is a playlist I made when thinking of all the wonderful magical people in my musical community I wanted to share with my little online family- this is a small Texas fraction but spans all the sounds. please check it out and give some very lovely, independent artists your ears, maybe you'll find a new favorite.

Loving this playlist, thank you!

I'm streaming right now and this is pretty cool. I was listening to Nilsson Schmilsson yesterday and for some reason this record is giving me a similar unhinged anything goes vibe. Favorite track from my first impression is "This is not the end"... love the Cure-Close To Me-like synth line.
