They were all willing to get back together to play for the vinyl release shows at The Tractor, and Carrie herself is still active solo along with doing the podcast. It's unclear what individual musicians might be up for when the clubs are truly open again - some of them insist these are one-off shows just to support the record release, but a pandemic could shift moods.

This is my favorite Elton John song. One of the best movies ever as well.
I’m a bit late to the response but, I do enjoy Elton John but haven’t felt called to his music outside of the obvious hits. Never could sit through an album listen frankly but man, his good songs are some of the best that will ever get made, ever, by anyone.Not liking Phoebe is fine. She's hit or miss for me.
But not liking Elton John...

I’m sorry but no one is too cool for “Circle of Life,” “Be Prepared,” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” That album is a JOURNEY, my friends.
And then, just 3 years later, it became a musical which is now the highest grossing musical of all time, because of the songs that he wrote on that album.
What more does an album have to accomplish to be considered great?
*That same year that the musical opened, he dropped the highest-selling single of the past, oh, 75 years, and donated all of the profits to charity.

Just to make sure that everyone knows, there are 2 versions of Loveless and Isn't Anything.
From the email I received:
"Isn’t Anything and loveless have been mastered fully analog ‘AAA’ for the deluxe LPs and also mastered from hi-res uncompressed files for standard LPs, with each being widely available for the first time ever. Fully analog cuts of the 2013 album MBV will also be available on deluxe and standard LPs globally for the first time. "

Man the shipping costs there are steeeeeep! Costing me nearly €40 including shipping from within Europe. Just preordered from the local to pick up for less. Even if they’re not open again by mid May the shipping across Dublin means the total will be less!

couple of question so the deluxe versions are the only analog ‘AAA’ and the non deluxe are pressed from Hi-Res? also will these be available everywhere like indie shops web stores even amazon and target?
They will. They’ve signed to domino to give wide releases of them and it’s domino that’s running their web store. They’ve already appeared on the website for every record store in Dublin, and they’ve all emailed me lol, because local band fever.

I don’t know why they’d pass over the business. Kevin Shields yes perhaps, he is too busy endlessly perfecting everything to care about money, but domino? That said I obviously don’t know for definite lol.

I hope you are right. I would like the deluxe considering AAA but not sure if the deluxe is a webstore exclusive (no evidence of this).
On our web store it is the one described as a “fully analog press” with a “board printed jacket”. Everything else is the same. The standard mastered from the hi res digital is only €5 cheaper so it’s not a big fancy arty edition, it just sounds better lol.
