Yeah my disc had distortion every rotation all of side 1. Super weird. I couldn’t see any obvious scuffing or flaws either. Side 2 was perfect. Wet cleaning did nothing so not sure what happened there. Hopefully mine was just a fluke.

Sure did. Not a huge indie Rock guy but I definitely like a good amount of bands from that early 2000s period. I have all the White Stripes albums but only 'Is This It' from The Strokes so pretty excited to revisit this one
 
I don’t even know why I bother. I stopped my VMP subscription when they jacked the price up but I really wanted that Sparklehorse set so I gave it another go, it arrived today... with a seam split on every motherfucking jacket in the box set. Some of them were even split across the text on the spine.

There whole operation model consists of mailing records to their consumers, they have been in business for years and they still have not figured out an effective way to accomplish this task.

Bullshit.

Someone posted on the VMP Reddit yesterday that one of their Sparklehorse records was warped and CS claimed they could only offer a credit but no replacement because they didn't have individual albums available. I guess with all of your albums having a seam split, you have a chance here :LOL:

One day! Dream big! Someone has to have a fucked box that was replaced!

That said as an anthology concept hater I’d prefer that, you can put the albums within tha individual artists discography! It’s like pure magic!
