Same thing happened with Al Green...so either they are faking selling out to stoke FOMO or their inventory system truly is god awful and either incorrect or the checking strategy doesn’t work...

Or they have to have a 1 to 1 retention for replacement policy... Or 3 to 1 for any customers rocking ortofon black carts

I just had a very weird email from VMP. I emailed a couple of days ago to ask about the status of some of my orders which are showing up as 'in-stock'. I was told that the status' are to be ignored when emails have already been sent out to say that they are experiencing delays (which is fine if you have already ordered but obviously not if you go online to buy and see its in stock).

The weird part is that I was told that the Harold Alexander, Thelonious Monk and Art Blakey "are experiencing COVID-19 related delays, which we have communicated to our customers via email". This is fine but the emails she is referring to said they will all be shipped out in October, so not sure if we should take that as them not being anticipated by the month we have already entered or whether they might end up shipping sometime before the end of the month.

I've been monitoring that status on Art Blakey too. If I recall it showed up as "In Stock" at one point before it was delayed.

If I had to guess, they just have a field for an items release date and once it hits that date, the label changes from "Pre Order" to "In Stock." If they're on top of schedule changes they can probably update the date, otherwise it just moves to "In Stock" automatically.

It's not like they have had a whole year to install the software and read the manual ;)

More for internationals I think but Someday My Prince Will Come and Otis are back in stock. No Pet Sounds or LA Woman though

Oi, can any of you add a track right now? Like any track you're not currently subscribed to? Because the option still isn't showing for me...
