The N&G Top 500 Albums of All Time!!!

I just want to add that if member A wants t vote for ‘ insert obscure live album here’ I think that he should. At the end of the day, it’s barely going to make a dent on the overall list. And if it does, shouldn’t the end result be ‘ what the hell is that? I’m gonna go stream it to find out’. Music discovery is a never ending chase and who knows where your next top 10 album all time is gonna come from. Why not here?!
 
Count me in. I am also on board with submitting a list of 100 discreetly to @Woob_woob or whoever is taking the data/user input necessary to compile the list. I'll use Topsters2 to visualize my list (I personally like the 4-tiered chart for a top 100 list on the site). I'll probably only submit studio albums for each selection, but not opposed to rules with live album/soundtrack entries.

I would just like to say i like your spunk. I may not be on decision making mode right now, but you might have sold me.

I also kinda like these secret ballots people are talking about because noone can hold me accountable for shitty math.

also it would be really cool if one of the members who can specifically vouch for why the album on the list is so good could write up a little explaination on why its one of the best it would be fantastic.. i would proudly write one for the black parade, fantasma, or 1000 gecs, blood visions, or embryonic (just going by my personal list)
 
Sorry to convolute but I just thought of something.

Is this out list of favorite albums or our list of 100 best albums. Because my list would vary greatly. I can recognize and appreciate an albums greatness over some of my favorites.
 
My top 100 list will probably contain no hip hop at all and I’m thinking there’s a real chance that Wilco’s dad-rock monument Sky Blue Sky might make the cut. This is what pure democracy looks like, people... it’s freaking scary.

Edit: I started a spreadsheet and 30 minutes into it I see that Sky Blue Sky doesn’t stand a chance.
