Television

I can't tell if I'm being whooshed or not but the R&M copypasta was meant to mock certain fans of the show who saw it as being exclusively for very smart individuals. I've seen, to a much lesser extent, some people feel that way about Westworld. So I took the R&M copypasta and applied it to Westworld. Does that make more sense now or am I being whooshed?
I understood your copypasta, it's one of my favs.

For others.

Oh my childhood!

I'm so excited!!! This was my favorite movie as a kid. It would always play every summer on HBO and when we visited my grandparents, I got to see it a few times. Me and my youngest are going to have a great time with this one.
I've been going through Deep Space 9 as of late.. never really a Star Wars kinda guy and there's some terribleness to it but I'm actually thoroughly enjoying it.
Okay, now you've gone too far. :p

I own Dark Crystal on VHS! Man.. the skekis scared the shit out of me as a kid. As did the beetle things.. can't remember their names.

For some reason, I had absolutely no problem with them. I can't watch a horror movie at all, but I love weird fantasy.

See... I love horror movies with a passion but man do parts of Dark Crystal still creep me out to this day.

I love the Dark Crystal; not necessarily as a movie, but as a sheerly weird film. I remember catching it randomly on the Disney Channel when I was maybe 10 or so, and being wowed by the idea of a movie that's all puppets, no humans or even puppets meant to be humans.

But considering the original Dark Crystal is a pretty straight-forward quest tale that doesn't overstay its welcome (and the fact that Louis Leterrier, whose track record is competent, is directing), I don't know if I need ten hours of DC.

You're being whoosed.

The Society
Lord Of The Flies + a bit of Lost + a lot of dumb teenage drama. Intrascendental.

What/If
Was this show serious? I watched it in two days and I don't know if it was on purpose. It starts with a rich woman offering a fortune to a girl to save her company and in return the rich woman has to spend the night with the girl's husband. Yeah, we've seen that before. But there's a twist! Actually, a lot of them. All of them are ridiculous and come out of nowhere. I can totally imagine the actors doing the scenes of the last episode, discovering all the secrets and laughing out loud as soon as the director shouts "Cut!".

I really really liked The Society. I hope there is a season 2.

I read a few reviews of What/If that told me all I need to know. Nothing kind was said about it. And I didn't like the movie it is based on.

So there's a new Luther miniseries starting tomorrow and that reminded me that I've never seen Luther. So I'm going to record the miniseries and start from the beginning.
2 things:

1. THANK YOU! I didn't know a new series was coming. On Netflix? Where?
2. HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE SEEN LUTHER YET???? You are in for a treat. Ruth Wilson plays my favorite villian. She's just so good in it. Enjoy!!!!
