Goddamn, I could understand if add-on prices went up to something like $25 but $33?! Yeah, most months are just gonna be one track from here on out.

I’m on a yearly sub that renewed in June so I’ll be around for a little while longer at least. But if it’s not gonna be grandfathered in when renewal comes up next year, then I’m probably done for good.

I am having an existential crisis because for 5 years I've connected myself to a company that is breaking

It broke for me in May of last year. They've made it very clear, repeatedly, that they don't care about their community. We're just a bunch of wallets to them.

Save your subscription fees, buy a better cartridge, wait for stores to open up, and go crate digging. Or ask people here for recommendations.

Cancelled my Classics track. Haven't played any of the past couple months of that one anyway and the Erroll Garner wasn't that great of a pick - being that it can be found pretty regularly in the used bins for cheap. None of them have been worth 33 bucks for a long time.

I still have a couple months left of this 3 month sub of Essentials, so I'll wait and see what they have coming.

Reminds me a bit of MoviePass at the end when they kept changing the rules and pricing week to week basically just rearanging the deck chairs on the Titanic to see if anything would work.
