thanks for the info, also sounds best to swap the main track as opposed to a side track. It's a better deal for international members to swap for credit. I think it only makes sense to swap for store credit as a US customer if you do not like any of the 3 tracks and want to buy a store pre-order.
It’s been going toward that direction for some time now. A lot of people abused the lax return policy and VMP has made their policy toward replacements more and more strict (remember the “dime” policy anybody?). I don’t think they have ever accepted returns but did give you a refund or sent a new copy no questions asked early on. Which album was this for out of curiosity? Is this a new policy? Well good thing every warp affects sound quality. Also additional wear on your needle and the record itself. Is this a new policy? View attachment 59078
Mayer and Tyner which arrived at my door like such. I was actually very close to sending pics of the records on the platter with nickels under the wraps but decided to say fuck it.It’s been going toward that direction for some time now. Oh fucks sakes yes send a picture. As mentioned above all warps effect sound eventually and they definitely affect wear on your stylus. But that is unplayable, send a pic they will replace.Mayer and Tyner which arrived at my door like such. I’m going back in. WISH ME LUCK LADYS AND GENTSNo way, send them again. Whoever that person is that responded has no idea what they're talking about if they think that doesn't affect the sound. That is not playable in any way.
Just make it very clear it DOES affect sound, in that that is NO sound because YOU CAN'T PLAY IT.I’m going back in. WISH ME LUCK LADYS AND GENTS
Not really they have tried that shit on me in the past. You just have to come back at them. Tell them you didn’t pay a premium for a warped record and tell them you will file a claim with PayPal or your CC company and cancel your membership if they don’t do the right thing. After that magically they were able to send a replacement. The warp is a QC issue that they need to fix.Is this a new policy? View attachment 59078
I know its likely they dont care about this kind of stuff, but whenever I have an issue with a warp I take a video of it and upload it to youtube with 'Vinyl Me Please ___ Warp' as the title, then send CS the link. Its likely no one would ever see the video other than them, but if I ever got rejection after that I would plaster the link on my social media for all my tens of followers to see.I’m going back in. To be fair did they EVER accept returns? I've only ever gotten replacements or full refunds." come on guys , we're having trouble enoigh sending your records out correctly, do you know how near-impossible that gets if we would also accept returns"

Agree their QC is all over the place and when something is damaged it absolutely needs to be replaced. Their policy now is too strict and they expect people to cave in and accept a small credit. But I've seen people get new copies of records for a slight ding in the sleeve and then flip the "damaged" records over on reddit at above the price they paid. I personally think that's taking advantage of the policy they had.HARD DISAGREE! Their QC is all over the fucking place!

@Ghost is 100% in the right asking for a replacement or full refund though.
