Do you know how to get good vinyl for cheap?

Step 1: First declare out loud that you're on a vinyl diet and won't be swayed into buying anymore.
Step 2: make sure @Skalap and @BazookaTooth know about step 1
Step 3: all of a sudden dodax, Amazon etc are going to go into meltdown start with their accideals, coupons etc. and the deal squad in step 2 is obviously going to tag you, as if to say " oh, you're on a budget? Running out of room on your shelves? Well how can you resist these you junkie?". That's right, you can't.

Like i Said, just follow the steps above and you will somehow break the dodax / Amazon algorithms.

I'm not even sure how this happened but somehow dodax and Amazon went off into a price war and I passed at 9.99 then I passed at 7.99 and then I couldn't resist at 2.99 . It even has the price sticker from Saturn for 23.99 so I'm not sure how they managed this but I think it's about time I explore this album that @Murfocakes so highly recommends.

Honestly, I kind of think the new Khruangbin album is pretty boring. It's like they tried to go in a new direction using more vocals in their music, but Laura isn't a very powerful singer, so they buried her in the mix under the instrumentation. One track it is just them sort of talking back and forth over a meandering guitar piece that doesn't go anywhere. The best track is that upbeat Latin piece with the Spanish vocals. Overall, it's an okay listen. Pleasant, but really kind of forgettable. Background music for me. But that's just me. I'm sure it'll get good reviews because they have a shitload of hype behind them right now. But in my eyes this new album doesn't really break any new ground, some songs seem uninspired and rudimentary. It's a mellow album that is easy to digest. Nothing that challenges or suprises the listener. Id give it a 6 out 10. Great artwork though!

I receive my copy yesterday and have not yet given it a listen but your review makes me think I will enjoy it a fair amount. I enjoy a good buried vocal and Agreeably funky background music.

I've just received 2 new records.

First is the Love Record Stores release "Up the bracket" by The Libertines on limited orange yellow marbled vinyl. I always loved The Libertines, and also Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things and both the Peter Doherty and Carl Barat solo records. 💚 I have most of their albums on CD and it's nice to have this amazing The Libertines album on vinyl too.

The other is my next N&G RotM. I had ordered it about 4 weeks ago from jpc and here it finally is. 🙂

I occasionally just look on ebay for MoFi albums and randomly saw a ton of them pop up on ebay for around $100 on Friday night. Then I realized that it had just gotten a restock on the MoFi site and people were trying to flip their old copies before anybody noticed the restock hah. Waiting for my fiancee to get off of all of her work zoom calls today to properly spin it and give it a listen!
 
about to buy max richter as well as either rodeo by travis scott, lordes melodrama, beyonces lemonade, or carly rae jepsens emotion. just one question is when bullmoose says something is a special order does that mean it will take longer to get there
