Only thing I would say is that while the fans that are more familiar with Waits have been wanting a reissue for a while, those that are not familiar might find it a bit too hard-core. Im lucky enough to have a copy which is one of the main reasons im hoping against it

If it is the pick, then there's probably a good likelihood a wider repress will follow, yeah? I can't imagine they will come out with a variant so stunning I will need to have it over a standard black copy. And like you said, it's all speculation anyway
