Jazz

Thank you to whoever posted about Black Edition records. I bought the suggested record and have been in contact with the label. They also run two other labels. Top quality music (Thin Wrist and VDSQ). All the records are affordable $20 for a single LP $30 for a double. I will be placing a second order once he lets me know his preferred vendor (Bandcamp or Direct from the label's site).

I received my copy of Tom Misch/Yussef Dayes Deluxe today from Amazon, it sounds fantastic. The packaging is nice as well, although I feel like they coulda done more with the booklet. It also comes with a guitar pick with the album name on it. Looks like its OOS now and the price jumped:

Edit: I saw Pitchfork gave this album a 6.9. I never take their reviews seriously but that's a travesty! Tom Misch / Yussef Dayes: What Kinda Music

Commonwealth records has been posting some awesome titles lately if anybody’s looking to support a local shop and wants some great jazz records:

Saw this in Bandcamp. Thought some of you might be interested.

This is a fantastic album, I was so impressed with it that I went and bought the other 2 vinyl releases from Reel To Real shortly after, Cannonball Adderley ‎– Swingin' In Seattle: Live At The Penthouse (1966-1967) and Etta Jones ‎– A Soulful Sunday: Live At The Left Bank Featuring The Cedar Walton Trio
