Online Vinyl Deals

C'mon pal, you guys have some nice stuff over there, too. Think of Courtney, King Gizzard and many many more.
Yeah, there are so many great Aussie artists, but my point is about vinyl shopping! Like, we don’t have the pressing plants you guys have etc 😶

Like, I can’t even order vinyl on Bandcamp from Quelle Chris/Milo etc because it’s always $20 minimum for shipping to Australia 🙄

But oh well, I buy a lot of vinyl anyways (mainly via Vinyl Me, Please), so maybe it’s good I’m not in the U.S. 😅😂

NOT vinyl, but still worth your attention
(the record doesn't exist in vinyl form anyway)

the mp3 is available today only at "name your price" value.

I'm just going to copy here the blurb about the album...
it's a special record for sure!

For a collection of music built around the poignant inevitability of decay, there has been a great many hopeful and inspired words devoted to William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops: stunning, ethereal, majestic, transfixing, life-affirming… and for good reason. From its 20-year gestation period to its infamously fateful completion, The Disintegration Loops is one of the most powerful manifestations of the inevitable cycle of life ever committed to tape, even as it documents the inevitable decay of all that is committed to tape. The very passage of time is its most effective instrument. Not only lauded by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Pitchfork, NPR and dozens more, The Disintegration Loops have become considered by many to be “one of the most pre-eminent American artistic statements of the 21st Century.”

"It's the kind of music that makes you believe there is a Heaven, and that this is what it must sound like." - Pitchfork (10) Best New Reissue

"The most important minimal compositions of the past decade." - ARTINFO

"Stunning. This is vital music for the human condition." - NPR

Just saw this featured in the OTHER MUSIC documentary where they talked about this being an organic reaction to 9/11. I also need to make a thread about the OTHER MUSIC documentary.

The one little Indian run Björk store has 30% off. Enter B33XNUKD at check out

Just received a mail saying that the code is not working so they just lowered the prices of all the Björk stuff.

Also, not a deal: today Bandcamp is waving their revenue share, so it's a great day to buy stuff from there and help your favorite musicians.

Any idea how much Björk site charges to ship a 3LP+DVD set to the USA?

Today for Bandcamp waiving fees, I'd like to recommend one of my favorites.

You can't go wrong with any of these releases:

Over Your Shoulder
Silence
Land of Eardrum 🤘

This record dropped today. I've listened to most of it and been impressed. It's available on Bandcamp, though Amazon has the best price (not sure if Amazon is selling the red-vinyl version being sold on Bandcamp and elsewhere).
