Why yes I do.Does anyone else know that feeling when you've just set up new speakers in the LR and you are as thrilled as your wife is dismayed?

It's a balance between deafening silence on one side and sweet sweet sounds on the other...Its a wonderful feeling, don't let anyone tell you otherwise

My wife's description:. You just put two giant tables in our living room
But they really are great looking wooden boxes. Soon as they are broken in a bit (few months) I'll be comfortable ng back for tube amp advice -- starting point Prima? (Hat tip: @HiFiguy)
i have a black 1The 8MZ will fit most Grados make in the last 3 decades. It will definitely be an upgrade to your Black2.
I asked John Devote to sell them to me directly and he wouldn't. I absolutely would not recommend the dealer I bought them from -- and truly wish I could have given that margin to John...Did you buy from a dealer or get them at the factory in Brooklyn?

I think her statement carried the implied "I can't believe you spent THAT much money on THOSE" ... already"Yeah but honey two REALLY NICE tables that cost about as much as a compact car!"
Actually no don't do that, just smile and nod.
So cool! Still dying to hear these. I'm sure you'll love them. I think PL is a great amp choice, but if you have a bit of budget, there is a whole world of low power SET amps that could be interesting.Totally irresponsible purchase...(it's been a weird year) and I'm very much in love

At 96 dB sensitivity, those would pair nicely with a Decware tube amp like @wooha uses with his Zu speakers. Not sure about the WAF on one of those though...So cool! Still dying to hear these. I'm pretty excited about exploring the options. Funny bit back on the local distributor -- salesman spent 30 minutes trying to convince me that the speakers needed at least a 150-200W amp to fill my 900sq foot space -- "possibly much more" -- I just kept waiting to try and fill out the order form and leave

Edit: note, they didn't sell much in the way of tubes...
Edit:
Amps I'd have on my interest list with the O/96 (no specific order):
Decware
Modwright Ambrose Monos and Pre
Shindo Laboratory
Mastersound
First Watt
Line Magnetic
Oh mama! I want to hear those so badTotally irresponsible purchase...(it's been a weird year) and I'm very much in love
