Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

This confirms they are going the way of Newbury....why in the world would they press this album again in a different color variant?
Yeah it says mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling and RTI pressed. The previous pressings are also RTI, don't mention RKS or Sterling though and claim they are mastered at The Lodge. So either this is some new remastered version or someone has their info wrong.

I know which I would put my money on.

Yeah the Google can't find any indication this album is being remastered or that RKS has anything to do with it... It was last reissued in 2018 and none of the represses show as being remastered or have any connection to RKS or Sterling. I mean it's possible they remastered it this year, but I'm sceptical.

Yeah but this version will change your life!

This gif made my day!

Love you Natalie. Don't worry, my wifi understands our complicated relationship. Come over and I will make you really mediocre food (vegan, of course).

I ask sub pop quarterly about seaweed reissues, so I’m invested at this point.

A friend knows someone at Sub Pop and bugged him around the time of Four's 25th Anniversary, and was basically told that when people who work at the label are sitting around discussing possible reissues, a band needs someone there to champion them. I'm sure it'll happen eventually but nobody on the inside cares enough yet. Maybe in time for Weak's 30th?

Too late, I sent you 4. And a laserdisc player. COD.

Just make sure you put the Laserdisc in the correct side up.....

OK, side bar story about that comment. When I took my Introduction to Film Studies course in university, there were several films that we watched on Laserdisc as DVD was still in its infancy and the university had amassed a sizable film library on Laserdisc. One of the films we watched was Psycho, and the TA that ran our screening lab...PUT THE DISC IN WITH THE WRONG SIDE UP. This means that they showed THE SECOND HALF OF PSYCHO, AND THEN THE FIRST HALF!!!!!!!!

I had already seen it, and when I realized that they weren't going to fix the problem, I grabbed my friends from class (who I knew hadn't seen it) and we left and rented it to watch at home. But there were most definitely people that stayed, not knowing any better, and watched the second half before the first half. Our professor was BESIDE herself when she found out what happened.
