I just discovered Junko Onishi. Here is a short bio on Wikipedia "after studying at Berklee College of Music, she moved to New York City, where she played with Joe Henderson, Betty Carter, Kenny Garrett, and Mingus Dynasty. She has also worked with Jackie McLean, Holly Cole, and Billy Higgins, among others, and recorded eight CDs for Blue Note (Somethin' Else in Japan) as a leader".

More recently she released two great albums, both released by Somethin' Cool Japanese jazz label (managed by Diskunion) :

Not looking to hijack N&G users (yes I am), but wanted to be sure we could include more of the great jazz vinyl community in this effort. Details on THE JAZZ TRAIN are HERE. Essentially it is a "pay it forward" vinyl jazz process and can be very useful to jazzers everywhere with the right participants.

Also totally open to recommendations to make this a more air-tight process. As Joan Jett would say - "hit me with your best shot - fire away". --- Ok, that's not a jazz reference. But what am I going to quote. Miles Davis' "So What?"

They're being transparent and a repress is coming in March/April.

We are selling 10 copies of 'Muriel Grossmann - Golden Rule' 1st pressing in hope to raise some funds for a 2nd pressing of the same album and a new project - catalogue number RRGEMS08. Muriel kindly presented her personal copies to us and band members signed them while visiting Tallinn for the latest record presentation concert back in December, 2019. Signed with all our love and with a gold color marker.

This package includes (Only 10 available):
1 - Muriel Grossmann - Golden Rule - RRGEMS05 (2x12" 180 gram vinyl gatefold record) - signed copy by Muriel Grossmann, Radomir Milojkovic, Gina Schwarz & Uros Stamenkovic.

Gutted I missed out on this. Anyone here get it? Pretty good when you consider its 2 records plus shipping (and golden rule goes for upwards of £70)
