I don't suppose you got the VMP box set to compare Bellman's cut of that to this new one?
I do like what Plangent Processes does for digital, but I'm surprised they went back to make yet another cut of this one - when CB's cut used in the VMP box is really good already.
While it's not the Optimal pressing from Craft Recordings (even though I bought it at Craft Recordings website), it doesn't sound too bad....compared to the WG/NRP cut that is in the box set it sounds a lot better.

I'm a huge Neil Finn fan though this album somehow snuck under my radar. I'm excited it finally got a vinyl reissue and am looking forward to digging into the second disc of demos, many of which ended up on the Crowded House album Woodface.
