A Giant Dog covered Neon Bible for Merge's 30th Anniversary Sub. It sounds great. Definitely my favorite release from this series so far.

First spin. Glad I was able to get it in swaps last month. Wasn't that familiar with it before, sounds absolutely amazing, especially the droning tamboura.

Jazz Spectrum 5lp box set
I've been spinning this all afternoon whilst doing some chores. It's just simply superb. It's basically a 'best of guide' to jazz box set, with each side focusing on a specific musician. I'm surprised at the audio quality as well, which seems to be pretty good. I would guess that if I was to just sit down and immerse myself in the music properly I might be able to comment on little issues, but I have yet to have any complaints with this.
If you can find this for cheap, go for it. Its such a fun way to spend an afternoon, especially if you don't look at who's going to be featured before you put it on the platter!

recently bought this new on sale for $10. have to say i’d unequivocally recommend this album to anyone remotely curious: this is a really great sounding record to my ears, and probably the most interesting paul simon music i’ve heard since i was a kid in the 80s when i thought chevy chase was art garfunkel.
