J Jazz: Deep Modern Jazz From Japan 1969-1983 (Volume 2) (BBE, 2019)
Just fantastic stuff, I really can't fault it at all. Fantastic music, superb audio quality, thick card gatefold, extensive liner notes on each track and the album its taken from......what more can you want? The first track on the 3lp set is 'Dragon Dance', which is also the opening track on the album 'Makoto Terashita Meets Harold Land – Topology' (which BBE have also released as part of their J-Jazz Masterclass series). @Mr Moore and @POGunter if you like the Topology album, I would recommend this set, its a steal at £25! Im going to spin Topology tomorrow night and this comp has got me really excited for it!

Haven't listened tio this since it arrived, good to give it a more focused listen. Remember it being pretty minimal compared to the Richard Swift produced stuff, back to the early vibes.
