Teodross Avery - Harlem Stories: The Music of Thelonious Monk (WJ3 Records, 2020)

Here's an album that I wish was released on vinyl. Rather than mimic Monk, Avery and his group just matches his energy as a tribute. It's fantastic and on the same line as his earlier album After The Rain: A Night For Coltrane (which is available on vinyl).
