Charley Christian ‎– The Immortal Charley Christian (Presto, 1966 Pressing)

This is a FIREY record! Charlie (misspelt as Charley here) was a pioneer of the electric guitar and an important figure in bebop. He died at just 25 years old (copious amounts of alcohol didn't help) so there isnt that much recorded music of his. The few tracks that exist though are incredible!

I had this cassette tape, I purchased mainly for “Bohemian Rhapsody” but I listened to it a lot while riding my bike delivering Newspapers. “Ballroom Blitz”, “Dream Weaver”, “Feed My Frankenstein”, “Foxy Lady” the songlength version of the Wayne’s World theme. That’s one hellova soundtrack.
