The Horace Silver Quintet – Song For My Father (Blue Note, 1966 Pressing)
I was tagged in a few posts on Instagram the other day. Looks like there was a 'Horace Silver Challenge' where people were encouraged to post their favourite album of his. Blowin Away The Blues is a great album but it was posted a lot so I decided to go with this killer one instead. My Instagram post is here for those interested.

Grant Green - Live At The Lighthouse (Blue Note, 1972 First Pressing)
Love this album, its such a killer mix of tracks and the compere's introductions really gives you a feel of what it must have been like to see Grant Green live.

The Legacy comp was very bad, the Low pressing was very worn. The winner was most definitely the Japanese Ziggy, sounded night & day in comparison to the legacy comp
