Novos Baianos - Acabou Chorare

I just found out that the main singer and songwriter for this masterpiece, Moraes Moreira, died a few days ago from a heart attack. RIP. This is one of the best Brazilian records, and sound fantastic on this Mr Bongo reissue.

Another from Henry, this time with another regular collaborator, Albert Ayler. This one’s been back and forth between its original Spirits title and Witches & Devils so many times. This was a nice value, nice sounding early ‘70s UK reissue. Wouldn’t surprise me if this pops up as an RSD reissue in the future.

yeah i've been eyeing up this. I just got the Ayler Holy ghosts 3XLP comp John Fahey put out years ago. Really great. I used to have the 10XCD box but sold that years ago. Really wish i didn't.
