Figure I'd mount it with a mount that can tilt down. No other real choice unless the landlord agrees to remove some, unique, shelving. If they remove that then I'd just use that wall for everything

I’ll take some pics of my room later. One of the reasons I went with the nad is there is NO way my wife is letting me treat the room.

Your wife is dead right. Why audiophiles are putting textured polystyrene tiles on their ceilings like the 70s never happened is beyond me.

If there’s room either side of the fire you could totally do that. I’d be tempted to leave the amp where it is and, if possible, run the speaker cables through the walls between the two points.

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to track down where your speakers were.
