I feel like Chipotle is probably at least twice the price as Taco Bell here. And not as much variety.

It’s like $12 for a burrito that’s made with real food vs like $8 for Taco Bell where half of its processed.

Last time I went to Taco Bell I believe it was $9+ for three regular tacos. Chipotle I can get three tacos for $9 (chicken) or $11 (steak).

Those were the days. When I was a kid it was often 4 for $1. I'd collect pop cans and my buddy across the street and I would ride our bikes to feast on the deposit returns.

I guess I've just never been a huge Chipotle fan and my wife doesn't like it either. We get it maybe once or twice a year and am usually always disappointed.

But like I said earlier, the BYO box in the app for Taco Bell is a ton of food. That's mostly what my wife and I get. It's an entree (crunchwrap, cheesy gordita crunch, chalupa, quesadilla), taco, side (chips, potatoes, cinnamon twists) and a drink for maybe $7 at the most.

In SoCal, if the name doesn't end with "-bertos" its not worth trying. Robertos is the OG, but you have Albertos, Roybertos, Rigobertos, Adelbertos, and so on.

Although Rubios is good for a chain.

I don't mind the chicken soft tacos, but their beef tastes even more like mystery animal than Taco Bell does.

Although I do recommend swapping beans for fries and fry sauce in their burritos. That's a fatty.

True, there is definitely a ranking still.

According to this article there are 70+ variations of the -Bertos name and counting. I certainly don't have the metabolism to do a comprehensive analysis on them, but I'm sure someone out there has.

I prefer Del Taco to Taco Bell myself but my wife has never liked the beef at DT so I have to get it on my own.

We had (still there but I'm not) a Roberto's throughout Las Vegas. Like everywhere. 24 hours. Don't know if it's the same place but they do have locations in CA. Breakfast burritos size of a forearm. Good, cheap, fast Mexican.
