Yeah, I don't really do fests, but Day 2 looks to have the most value to me personally. If Be Your Own Pet was playing that night I'd buy a ticket. As it is... nah...
I signed up for text messages from SK and they texted me this lineup:EXCUSE ME?! BE YOUR OWN PET?!?!
Which is not hugely different, except that Snail Mail is no longer included in the Sunday lineup, which makes me sad.

I feel you. I find with the vast majority of fests, the bands I'm most excited about I can see in a 500 to 1K capacity club.

Saw Wet Leg last night and they are a lot of fun. You can tell they are just thrilled to be up there playing and love the enthusiasm of the crowd.
Now the opener was energetic and intense! Great fun energy that these guys exude! Nice guys and they signed their vinyl, too.

Belatedly posting some pics from day 3 of the Hold Steady's annual Massive Nights run at Brooklyn Bowl. Always a gas, and for my money the most enthusiastic fans in music.

Great radio in studio this afternoon with Nikki Lane, who had a gig in Pittsburgh last night, flew to Baltimore, and then drove to Akron for a show tonight in Cleveland. That was exhausting to even type!
Was hoping to buy her great new record at the session but unfortunately she didn't bring any merch along.
