Why do I need to watch an entire prequel series about Green Arrow's boat, though?
There’s so many Netflix shows that I’ve started and never finished because I can’t be doing with 5+ seasons. I remember really loving Orange is the New Black in the first three seasons but I lost interest after that because it just kept going.Mini series may in fact be the only series i continue to watch on netflix since they have a definite ending! Can't rely on them to finish a regular series anymore.
Netflix originally let shows go on long after their expiration date, and now they just cancel at 2 or 3 seasons regardless of if it's finished or not. There’s so many Netflix shows that I’ve started and never finished because I can’t be doing with 5+ seasons. True dat.
Still in mourning about GLOW.
My problem is that we've started watching a movie a night in quarantine, and on most accounts TV just falls short. I like it when TV tries to lean into its strengths (Mandalorian is great) but overall movies are just so much better made (acting, writing, directing, cinematography, etc.)
Finished Raised by Wolves this week and it just made me feel so much stronger about this.

We have just been going through and rewatching peak TV. Started off with Band of Brothers, then Deadwood, next Sopranos. We are finishing up Mad Men tonight. I and think we will rewatch either The Wire or Beaking Bad next. The Americans rules and has been off the air for over two years

I wish I liked this show but I just don't.
Counter counter counterpoint: I have generally horrible taste, so you're probably right!

I love Big Sky. Only one episode out so far. I've never seen Twin Peaks. Also my taste in movies/TV shows are usually off from critics and other people.Anybody watching Big Sky? The previews make it seem like David E. Kelly’s take on Twin Peaks. Which probably means it’s not great but who knows.
I might have to give it a try. I haven’t watched a network drama in years but ABC gave me Lost so maybe it’s worth a shot.I love Big Sky. Only one episode out so far. I've never seen Twin Peaks. Also my taste in movies/TV shows are usually off from critics and other people.
Didn't realize this was back. I just binged the first season on a whim a couple weeks ago. Been excited about it and The Expanse coming back in December.I really enjoyed last nights episode of His Dark Material. It really explained a lot more about what Dust is.
Things are getting interesting.
