Amazon accidentally confirmed the existence of this upcoming boxed set.
Prince DREAM track list!

For those of us mega-fans, here's to hoping that version of Wally is the fabled original version that Prince re-recorded less than 24hrs later. By his own acknowledgement, and the account of then-girlfriend Susannah Melvoin, he kept a dubbed copy of the OG version on a tape which he either sent to her or kept himself (unclear) that has yet to see the light of day. As it is, the second version of Wally has never been commercially available. Questlove has heard it though, per one of his tweets :)

JFC the track list! How am I supposed to resist this when it’s legit up for sale? TBH, I’d go for the CD box, but still....
 
Ordered the following:
Seven LP 7” singles numbered box set (Third Man Records $99)
Peach 2 LP reissue (Bullmoose $33)

Question is, do I want the 13 LP box for $300, or 8 CD box for $150? Both come with the same extras and book, so I’m fairly certain I’ll get the CD set to save money, and preordered from Amazon. But the temptation is real.
 
I went cd box, to go along with purple rain and 1999 cd deluxe editions..all different sizes but hey ho.. those vault discs line up beautifully together in a multi CD player ..it’s like an alternate Prince timeline .... if you add in originals too the posthumous releases are great ...I kinda wish they’d done them separately like Dylan’s bootlegs series though

That’s a good point, I don’t have any of the vinyl box sets. I’m 90% sure I’ll stick with the CD box set, especially since I really want the peach colored reissue, and the vinyl set is twice as much.

These outtakes are amazing..so many great unreleased gems
 
I've now also ordered the "Sign 'o' the times Super Deluxe Vinyl box". It's available on JPC for 282€ and I get 8 % off there, so it costs me 260€. And I don't need to pay till I get it, so if there should be financial problems I still could cancel.
If the CD Box was a lot cheaper I might have decided for that, but it's just 100€ more. Love Prince and just need this on vinyl. 💜 I know several of the unreleased tracks from bootlegs/youtube and they're so good. Really want that on vinyl. 😍🙂
 
I was today years old when I learned that the "Lil Sweet" Dr Pepper guy (not so loosely based on Prince) is Justin Guarini from American Idol. 😮
