Yeah, this doesn't sound like some weird in-character gimmick if it's his wife talking about the family man. It is... very unusual that it was kept under wraps for two whole months.

RIP to one of the greatest. He almost single-handedly got me into hip hop nearly 20 years ago.

Personally-- it was Rhymesayers, Outkast and Aesop Rock that got me back into hip-hop after ignoring the genre during HS... (listened to a ton of G-Funk in middle school). That said, MF DOOM was a legend all the same:

I expect some posthumous material to get released eventually. Even during these past several years I'm sure he was prolific working on his own and keeping stuff locked away. If anything comes out I hope it's done respectfully and handled properly like the recent Prince stuff.

Literally the reason I got into hip hop, as I sure he is for a lot of people. I didn't really start to move on from being a metalhead until late high school/early college (wild I know), and DOOM (along with Wu Tang) were my gateway into what is not an inseparable part of the music that I love.
