Pre-Order Thread

My wife can never know I spent this much money on this album...

Special 24 hour preorder window to get a limited edition or signed limited edition pumpkins live Japan 92 set. $70 unsigned, $170 signed by Billy and Jimmy. 15% off deal will work, but $15 shipping in US. Way higher for international.
I am not sure on how much these autographs are worth so I don’t know if that is a good deal or not but a 2xLP Live album for $70 is bonkers.

Are the "insider prices" for 24hrs, or the variant?
That's a good question and I'm really not sure. The post from the band made it sound to me like the purple swirl variant / signed versions were only available for 24 hours and then it would be black standard. But the tea shop post makes me think maybe just the price will go up?

Wow, $100 for that baldy one to sign it

And Jimmy! Lmfao. Such a blatant money grab scam by Billy. He always does these way overpriced things. But I'm a damn sucker sometimes. I get the dumbs sometimes with albums I really want. That's why I like coming to post here. A lot of you are my equally dumb family when it comes to buying overpriced vinyl we don't really need.

At least it's a '92 concert from a time where they were in their prime and the set list would be all top material and not mired w the shit they would put out later (pretty much anything after Adore and even then I'd want a set list of MCIS and before songs)

But still that price is crazy.

I’d actually be a bit worried about the setlist... unless they were road testing Siamese Dream material by that point.

That's actually a really good point. I guess it'd be a year or so short of SD.

Looking at an example list of a show from Japan in 92...

It looks like you get Silverfuck and then Gish and b-sides, extras

I wouldn't hate a Gish heavy set but again not at that price

There is no better vibe than Pure Moods when you're listening to music by yourself. I call this vibe - "getting a massage in a candle-lit cathedral in a small village on a windswept mountain in the middle of the night while the rest of the world burns."

paging @Rip_City - the debut album "mcmxc ad" has the "Sadeness" song that I played for you in JQBX (when we were playing cathedral-core songs) that you enjoyed (or at least you did a good job of pretending that you did for my benefit haha). The album is full of sampled drumbeats, somber chanting, rhythmic heavy breathing, forest sounds, flute solos, and lots of synth.
