Hey all...be ready for a VMP version too....found this digging around on Khruangbin's website...it's a direct link to VMP
I grabbed a copy...wondering if there will be any other exclusives outside of this and the pink indie exclusive/a VMP one...the Secretly pressing of Tallest Man On Earth's has that "Wave" variant and it's real purty.
I actually only have an OG pressing of the self-titled and Prime Prine. It really saddens me to see how flippers have acted after he passed away. I got Prime Prine for $8 at my local. Somebody has a copy up for nearly $700 USD now on discogs.
It's so fucked up...I forget which record store it was too, but one fairly well-known one jacked up their pricing on new Prine albums within hours of his passing.People will always be people. It is just like Frightened Rabbit stuff after Scott killed himself. Their stuff was easy to get and cheap and then he dies and now most all of it is outrageous.

Right--that was the one. I didn't want to name names without remembering correctly. That was Shuga Records. Previously a store I really liked buying from so that was disappointing. They currently have 'In spite of ourselves' for $45.99

Part of me gets it, especially right now...record stores are hurting and need the money. But it's just screwed up to me that a record store's first impulse upon hearing that an extremely influential artist has passed away is to immediately jack up the prices of that artist's releases. Won't be ordering from Shuga again anytime soon.
I love the wave coloring. The Tallest Man on Earth Wild Hunt reissue has the same wave pattern and it looks really awesome in person.
Yep. I saw Dave's in Chicago and Vnyl jacked up prices for The Missing Years which is normally about $25 at most.
You think that's ugly? To each their own I guess. I think it looks great.

Can't speak to this specific color obviously but the Tallest Man on Earth one almost has this iridescent quality to it that is really cool. The larger image does look better than the smaller one on the site. I see what you mean. I hope the colors pop a little more in person, but overall I'm ok with it. Copped it.

Even though Dave is a huge asshole, I’ve always liked his shop. Disappointed but not shocked
Think I'm gonna have to get that totebag bundle instead of waiting for the VMP variant to appear...
