THE CIRCULAR
Saturday, January 30, 2021
After the remarkable acclaim and demand for last year's deluxe vinyl box set of The Legendary Riverside Albums, we are thrilled to announce that four albums from that collection which chronicle Chet Baker's entire output during his years at Riverside Records are getting breakout LP releases of their own. Set for release on March 5th and available for pre-order now, the albums comprise of all his albums recorded and released between 1958 and 1959: (Chet Baker Sings) It Could Happen to You, Chet Baker in New York, Chet and Chet Baker Plays the Best of Lerner and Loewe.

The recordings, which feature such icons as Bill Evans, Johnny Griffin and Kenny Burrell, have all been cut from their original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI. Each title will also be available on March 5th across digital platforms in hi-res 192/24 and 96/24 formats. In celebration of these reissues, we have pressed a limited amount of Riverside T-Shirts which are available exclusively through the Craft Recordings store, both as a standalone purchase and as part of special bundles.
Was there a point in buying the boxset? Now all I have to show for myself is a pretty linen wrapped box to store my widely available Chet presses in

HHV "oversold" their stock of Kikagaku Moyo live at Levitation and my order got cancelled. KM is my favorite current act so if anyone has a lead on a copy (or wants to flip theirs to me) let me know! Thanks:)

Bummer...This quickly became a hard to get title. I missed it on preorder somehow. Not Kikagaku’s reg label. Then I was watching Plaidroom like a hawk only to have it sell out on my drive between work and home. Ended up getting a copy at retail (but with added shipping to US) from Germany at rec store I have bought from in the past just before the price went up. Now I am at the mercy of international shipping but hopeful I have one nailed down. Good luck 🍀.

Nice glad you hunted one down, this was kind of an ugly fumble for me. Kikagaku Moyo announced the live album in like November and I marked my calendar. Then, the band never posted anything else about the vinyl and Levitation dropped the preorder weeks ahead of the date Kikagaku Moyo provided so I totally missed it.. I'll keep a closer eye on this thread now:p

If I see it, I'll message you. Somehow, I missed the Kikagaku Moyo / Ryley Walker orange vinyl

Where was the orange for sale? I only saw black!
It was available direct from Ryley's label Husky Pants Records (link below). Copies of the black vinyl (and possibly orange) will be added to his Bandcamp site on Friday.
