I’m still checking just about every hour but so far, nothing. My new game to pass the time is how to get a twofer with the Paul McCartney Amoeba record as one of them. I don’t know why I’m so averse to paying $10 for that one!

The real challenge though is getting the PJ Harvey/John Parish album out of my cart. Its been stuck there for hours and the “x” button is not working on it specifically. I feel like that’s adding an extra level of difficulty to my Amoeba mission.
You can also work around this by switching to Incognito (or whatever they call "porn mode" on your browser of choice)

if you want me to pick up anything from the SOV sale for ya, happy to send you a big box! Just think shipping might not be the cheapest but will still be better than buying it yourself!

They don't ship to my kind, so I've been ignoring for awhile - seems the Nirvana and most of the Marley has sold out, but I'd be down for any of those if they pop back up, plus Joe Pass, Max Richter, Shooter Jennings and the Jesus Christ Superstar 50th anniversary.

You're a gentleman and a scholar!

i got you covered on Natty Dread and Joe Pass at least. Will see what I can get from the others!

i have no movement on crateism stuff....so will be interested to see if those actually get shipped. my SOV stuff has already started shipping.

I mentioned before but Crateism ships from LA and that USPS center just does not scan things.

I also think Crateism is a pretty small outfit so they might take a min to process those out.

Dales on Discogs lead me to believe there is vast majority of vinyl buying folks who don’t bother to look for anything anywhere else, ever.
This is correct. My uncle is getting back into vinyl (he's early 60s) and will text me a picture of a Beatles record that a guy is trying to sell him. It's a beat up Beatles Second Album and he's asking for $75. Big nope.

So I show him Discogs but the learning curve on buying things online for certain people is just staggering. Anything outside of one website is just too much.

same can be said for many VMP customers. i'm shocked at the people fawning over some TBT titles that are way cheaper on discogs/ebay!
I don’t visit their “communities,” but there used to be a fairly large contingent of their customers that thought everything VMP sold was exclusive to them (on top of the is random variant of random new album better than all the other random variants of random new album all made at the same random ass plant from the same plates made by the same random ass engineer bunch)
