St Vincent is easily my most anticipated of the night but wanted to add these 3 to the radar

Bullion - Affection (lead single "Rare" with CRJ is one of my favorite singles of the year)
Corridor - Mimi (havent listened to any singles but I'm OBSESSED with the album cover lol)
Anitta - Funk Generation (loved her last album. hope to love this one also)

I know there are a lot of folks here looking forward to this one.

I've never really been much of a St. Vincent fan, but curiosity got the better of me and I started my listening to this week's releases with it despite being pretty low on my priority list. On a first pass I enjoyed it quite a bit. Far more than I expected.

Now I'm switching up the vibe with Iron & Wine.

I need to spend more time with this, but it may very well end up being my favorite record of hers. Praised be there is no Antonoff on this. I think she produced it herself. First impression is positive.

With one and a half listens of the new St. Vincent I think it’s already better than the last two - which I don’t even dislike at all. I need closer listens to it, but I’m happy this is the sound and style she’s doing this to around. No major overarching aesthetic or persona, just great songs. I don’t think anything will top Strange Mercy for me, but this one does sound closest to it in a way.
