The new Yumi Zouma is really good! I've really loved all their albums, and I think by now they're just a super consistently enjoyable band. Still need some more time with it, which I'm hoping to do when I get my vinyl copy.

I also got the new Charli XCX a day early, but I ashamedly haven't had the time ti listen to it yet other than the first half on streaming. I'm digging it a lot. I don't get the initial criticism that seemed to be floating around online. It's super fun, big pop music - and still very much her own style.

I've just listened to the Bob Moses album "The Silence in Between" and like it. It's a great mixture of Indie Electronic, House, Pop and Dance. Some great grooves on this one.

Listened to 90% of it on my drive to work this morning. I think it's a respectfully well done coda to his life and career. Not straight fite through and through but, more importantly, not hot garbage! A very solid album from a super solid emcee we lost too soon.

Took me a few days to get to it but Somi's Zenzile: The Reimagination Of Miriam Makeba is easily my release of the week. Gorgeous. Emotional. Joyous. So good. I hope it eventually gets a vinyl release!
