I'll be giving another, deeper, listen after work tonight but my initial impression is that I enjoyed it less than I'd expected/hoped but still quite a bit (like, I figured it would be high in my top 10 for the month right out the gate, but it's currently hovering right around the cut-off.)

Yeah, I'm two full listens in, and I'm still not yet sure how I truly feel about it. Is it a good album? Yes! Is it experimental and not what I expected? Yes! Is it a well-rounded album that I will continue to listen to? Not sure 🤔 Methinks it will be one of those albums that needs at least half a dozen spins to fully realize.
 
I'm only about halfway through my radar list and this wasn't even on it, but it's definitely my favourite release of the week so far!

Psych/doom-wop surf rock outta Saskatoon, produced by Dallas Good of The Sadies and inspired in part by the trio's mother’s high school years at an all-girls Catholic boarding school and convent in small-town 1960’s Saskatchewan...
