Lorraine James' Reflection is a trip!Lots of potential good stuff today between JBrekkie, Wolf Alice, Loraine James, the Isbell/Cooley/Hood Live at the Shoals, etc.
Don't think anyone mentioned this, been wanting to check it out since I heard the 1st track a bit ago. Post rock-y adventures. Just starting listening now.

Their own Bandcamp page lists it as December 4th, 2020 while the Hausu Mountain Bandcamp page and Spotify list it as May 28th, 2021 so I'm guessing they put it out on their own late last year and got it picked up by the label who put it out last week.Appears to be a 2020 release.
Haven't seen enough talk about this track. But I think it's my favorite one right now. Just so damn fun with all the instruments in the mix.Slide Tackle is a banger
It’s a song from Wild Nothing’s Nocturne mixed with some Sufjan-esque horns.Haven't seen enough talk about this track. But I think it's my favorite one right now. Just so damn fun with all the instruments in the mix.
King Buffalo has put out the #1 contender for Album of the Year on my list. And to think this is just the first of 3 albums they conceived while in quarantine. Challenging the release efficiency of King Gizzard. Something about bands that start with King being prolific as hell.
A little easier to absorb than Portal? I'm enjoying this one as well!Won't be on my own year-end list, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit, Thanks. Particularly "Grifter" and "Silverfish."
Agreed on both countsWon't be on my own year-end list, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit, Thanks. Particularly "Grifter" and "Silverfish."
