Clue #2 = London

Clue #3 = Witchseason Productions, who did not produce this particular release but did work with Martyn on a few other albums

So close

So that’s ole big mouth himself, the legendary Brian Clough.

That’s a picture of him leading out Leeds in the charity shield during his brief and ignominious reign as their manager. So bizarre he chose to manage a team he had berated as dirty cheats over the previous half decade.

This period in his professional career was fictionalised in the novel The Damned United and it’s film adaptation with Michael Sheen staring as Cloughie.

Any of that help @avecigrec?

So @Gavaxeman could it be

John Martyn - Road to Ruin

  1. The Quo beef plus it has island in the title.
  2. Royal Mail Postbox - song called parcels
  3. The witchy island sub label
  4. The island guy
  5. I missed that one like everyone else
  6. Wizard of Oz/Yellow Brick Road/Emerald City = Road to Ruin
  7. Cloughie’s spell at Leeds = same as 6
I might be stretching with a couple of the reasons above…
