As much as I love the cozy recliners at the classic old theater downtown, I'm damn glad I went to IMAX for this.

I'm usually all "rah-rah, Chicago," but IMAX is not included among our very few 70mm options.

The other downside I've come to realize about my chosen home of the past decade-plus is no pyro at shows outside of jumbo arenas.

Going tomorrow night with my buddy that I've gone to see all the MCU movies with since we first thought Iron Man looked fun 17 years ago. My oldest was barely 6 months old at the time.

Got to see an advanced screening of Clown in a Cornfield last night with author Adam Cesare, director Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil), and stunt coordinator BJ Verot in attendance. Been looking forward to this one!



As a fan of the books (super fun and surprisingly gory YA slasher horror), I'm happy to say the adaptation was a success! Definitely one that plays well with a crowd, so if you're in the mood for some upbeat clownish carnage, be sure to catch this wide release from May 9!

There's a fourth book in the works! They are super quick reads, but the movie is fun whether you're familiar or not. Hoping this performs well enough to continue with book 2! Eli said he wants Adam to co-direct the sequel with him.

I've been waiting for the next Eli Craig movie, so it was nice to see this was coming out. I'll probably wait until it's on Shudder to watch it, though.
