It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

I will say. Saka left his foot dangling but the penalty given on Saliba against Sane was identical

Nah. Saka threw his leg out. It’s not a dive but it’s not a foul either unless the ref falls for it. I suppose the correct word is gamesmanship. Sane didn’t initiate the contact in the same way Saka did, he was caught.

The multicast is tough because it either cuts off or cuts into Ray Hudson making the stupidest comparison you've ever heard and you don't understand what he's saying
yup, plus it feels like they are favoriting the PSG/Barca match over the Atleti/BVB one. Twice when Atleti scored they were late to cut back to the other one for audio. I mean, I get why one is favorited more today, but yesterday the multicast felt more balanced.

Idk about you but Christensen scored to take the lead for Barca and he said "he rose like a Salmon out of a perfect summer stream and put his team ahead" I felt that 🥲

We have a commentator over here who for some ungodly reason uses hundreds of metaphors involving cricket that make zero sense at all. It’s just all a bit odd.

So much hate Joe. Maybe if you were nicer, United would be better.

I mean I’ve seen my team win more trophies than probably everyone else combined, unless we have a scouse fan going back to the 70s/80s. I think I’m good.

Also Wrexhams recent uplift is at the expense of the club from the town I grew up in.
