Not sure, my guess would be there is an escrow account that royalties go to first, which Finesse is subsequently paid out of. Sounds like Tommy Boy raided the vaults.

On a similar note, KRIT had been going off in sponsored social media ads about how the OG KRIT Wuz Here (and basically all his old vinyl) was bootleg. Idk how, it all looks very legit and some was put out by FatBeats. Even said that The Underground Edition was bootleg, which I could've sworn KRIT himself advertised in the past. My guess is someone else is handling the social media account and just trying to drum up sales for the reissue or trying to distance KRIT from the mixtape wax that includes tons of (at the time at least) uncleared samples. If anyone knows more about this I'm very curious, I can't recall if any of the old tapes on wax were sold through his website or not.
