Hip Hop

Kind of related to the underground hip hop conversation, these are a few projects from this year I'd really like on vinyl, so if anyone sees any of these getting pressed please let me know!

Rav x KB x Scuare - SKIN
$ilkMoney - Attack of the Future Shocked, Flesh Covered, Meatbags of the 85
Kahlil Blue - DOG
Chris Crack - Good Cops Don't Exist
Piff x Cream - War of Art
Horus Ra Mindset - Don't Lose Your Cool
Jay Royale - The Baltimore Housing Project

Chong Wizard is doing Chris Crack - White People Love Algorithms next month and I think he mentioned Good Cops Don’t Exist is in the works after that

edit: “Cute Boys and possibly this new one coming in October...we’ll see how shit goes” - from instagram

Someone explain this one to me? Worth $40? I like this cover mora than the ‘74 version. Price is high tho
do you already have Piñata on vinyl? I can't imagine the cover alone being worth $40 to someone, but I'm sure there are people who feel otherwise. if you don't have it, want it, and love this cover enough to pay a premium (you can probably get the original cover for half the price) I'd say go for it... otherwise I don't see a reason to buy it, but to each their own.

edit: just read the description and it notes it being a half speed master, so it may sound better than the standard press, but I feel like heads were saying that the half speed master of Bandana was no better than the standard, but take that with a grain of salt...

I don't know nothin' 'bout hip hop, but this may belong here:

I actually bought this and have enjoyed it a lot. You get 97% of the album on 1LP instead of 2LP (slightly edited some outros/skits to make it fit). The blue note inspired artwork, front and back, is really well done and looks great in person. It does sound better than my old standard 2LP of Pinata. I'm not sure if this is due to it being a half speed master or not bc as somebody already noted the Bandana half speed master was no improvement whatsoever over the standard.

Probably only worth it if you're a Freddie freak, but for me this has been a very satisfying purchase. I thought it sold out weeks ago.

Wouldnt it just be quieter on 1 LP

That should be the only difference ?
