Hip Hop

Black Ben Carson

gonna cost me like 200$ my currency if I want it.. brutal.
Anyone got a copy?
I’ve got one. I ordered when they went up on his site. For some reason the package kept going back and forth and it took me like 3 weeks to get it, which was anxiety-enduring since it was sold out. But it’s dope. It’s a good package. There’s no way I’d pay $200 for it though, personally.

Where should I start with Tha God Fahim? I liked one of his features but have never dug in to any of his projects
The dude has SO MANY tapes, it’s hard to say. But I think a good starting place is Adamantium Dojo, then Those that Slay Dragons then Roosevelt Creek. From there you can listen to anything. I’d definitely recommend his collabs with Mach-Hommy (Dollar Menu 1 & 2) and his collabs with Jay Nice (Strictly for my Dumperz) and Stack Scrilla (Dump Gawd: Divine Brotherhood).

If you’re looking for Vinyl check HHV and Lowtech Records. They press most of his stuff.

Just out of curiosity which hiphop record would u deem worthy of 200 ?

Anything that I think I will play for the rest of my life on a regular basis is worth almost anything to me xD But I will exhaust all avenues to get it cheaper before I commit. And so far I have not seen a decent copy go for much less anywhere.

That’s a good question. My answer, considering my current finances, would be none. If money was no object, there are a few (Flygod and Reject off the top of my head). But BBC isn’t one. I like Peggy but I don’t $200 record like him.

The most I think I’ve ever paid for a hip-hop album currently is the $70 I paid for Adamantium Dojo. I would’ve paid $100 for the Tuez Les Tous with the bonus 12” if it weren’t a pic disc. I can’t see spending more than that, honestly.

I got some just from my hoarding of 2019 releases

horrorcore-like: https://thaimpaila.bandcamp.com/album/imp

sound collage-y: https://slausonmalone.bandcamp.com/album/a-quiet-farwell-2016-2018

emo and trap fusion: https://wiccaphase.bandcamp.com/album/suffer-on

this is one you'd prob enjoy the most out of all of them: https://chrisconde.bandcamp.com/album/growing-up-gay

1. Just way to much noise for my ears lol I feel like it wasnt layered properly. Didnt dig it at all.
2. Unique and I liked it but not enough actual verses in each song to keep me around. If I was an Instrumental kinda guy id be all for this. Nice stuff.
3. Just hate his voice. Beats/Mix and everything was decent but his voice wrecks it for me.
4. Dunno if you was legit with that last one but the beats on that was fire lol I just cant be bumping music out loud talkin bout sucking guys dicks and wanting to fuck boys but the dude had skills and legit was probably the better lyricist out of em all lol

For those of us in to books. This looks like it will be good. Only $14

you never know what YouTube is going to put into your recommended videos, and when it threw me a thumbnail of a dude with no arms smoking a giant joint I have to admit that curiosity got the best of me... turns out these dudes are pretty good.
