Spinning Public Enemy, gotta say it sounds really good. Dynamic, lots of separation, not muddy at all. If anything it's a little light on the bass, but honestly I think it's true to the original mix that way, these tracks weren't nearly as bass heavy as newer stuff. I'm really impressed. This is as good as any of the VMP RHH remasters, better than a lot of them...

Spinning Public Enemy, gotta say it sounds really good. Dynamic, lots of separation, not muddy at all. Yeah, it's the delayed RSD release. Pressed at Pallas USA. Came out a couple of weeks ago.

And as I kinda expected, as I'm getting into the later tracks the bass is getting louder to match the original mixes as this stuff got heavier bass as time went on...

Yeah, I haven't heard any of their other vinyl presses but I can't really imagine these tracks sounding much better than this considering the original sources.

IIRC they're still pressed in Germany but marked USA if they're for the US market.

Sounds right. I don't have loads of Pallas records, but the ones I have all sound pretty great.

Right now, I think they're my favorite of the "big 3" in that they're the most consistently flawless. But it's also the one I have the least pressings of the three.

Nice! I love SC. Their Mahavishnu Orchestra pressings the last couple of years are fire. My Born Under isn’t SC but good to know!

I am perfectly content with my Rhino Blues For Allah but after listening to to Mo Fi Mars Hotel I do imagine it’s likely noticeably better. Mars Hotel sounds fantastic. I’ve had a big dumb grin on my face for the better part of an hour now.
