Yeah I had to swallow my pride and buy it from the cheapest European stockist. I can’t even bring myself to say their name.
Still so much more expensive than the US list
It is very very good. In the Cold Cold Night is astonishing. It's got a bass line you can ride off into the sunset on. Especially if you have speakers that go looooooow.
If it arrives in the morning I’ll clean it and spin it. If it’s the afternoon then I’ll have to wait until after the weekend. It’s my little brothers stag doo this weekend so I’ve got to try to survive drinking with a group of 30 year olds and my other brother….
Oh yeah + subwoofer. Mr grumpy neighbour man is going to be pissed off…

Oh ye of the golden ears, not looking for a "definitive" pressing, but any input on a good pressing of Exodus, not including UHRQ or MoFi............or are either of those worth the extra scratch.

You know, I don't think I've heard a bad copy of this. I have the UHQR and it tops what I used to have (though I think it's OOS now no?) - but the standard 180g reissue that was going around before that was an excellent listen as well - I pif'ed my copy already or I would have gladly sent it over for you to sample. I can't speak for the 1/2 speed. And... you also can't go wrong if you can find a clean original. Even the Japanese 1977 gets good reviews.
