Not sure if anyone mentioned this album a few weeks ago, but this was an RSF (Random Spotify Find) this weekend. Ottawa, Canada artist, Leith Ross, dropped their debut LP To Learn on May 19th. They remind me of Phoebe Bridgers and someone else 🤔 Very beautiful, emotional, and personal album. Definitely worth checking out!

omg Brendan Eder Ensemble!

The Quietus posted their 2023 midyear list a few days ago. I recognize far more of their selections than I anticipated. Their #1 is one of my fringe top10 at the moment.

They do good lists. Looking forward to looking this one over once the baby's in bed (since they decided to cut naptime in half today, despite a night of light sleep due to late air travel yesterday! 😳)

Very cool list. I'm excited by the dozen or so albums I hadn't listened to yet that piqued my interest

25 felt like the right cutoff point for numerous reasons. I also didn't know what to do with Janelle because I just started listening to it yesterday. BUT it's really good and I have a feeling it'll wind up in my top 5.
