Bubbling under - Patti Smith - Horses; Neil Young - Tonight's The Night; Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run; Black Sabbath - Sabotage

I can't quite believe some of the albums I had to leave out. Some of my very favourites. But this is such a stacked year in both US/UK and Africa. To make it even more extraordinary, Orchestre Baobab (or Bawobab as they were called then) released no fewer than five albums that year! And I'd be happy with any one of them at number two (the others are 1975, Senegaal Sunugaal, Guy Gui Rey Gi, and Adduna Jarul Naawo).
