Testing out this thing called Gin. I assume you pronounce it yin, with a soft g. /s
I actually blended some lime, mint, and basil. Added 2 measures of gin and 5 measures of tonic water (2 oz and 5 oz). Not bad, should've strained it. I have mint leaves in my mouth.
Bonus metal "ice" cubes so it doesn't get watered down any further.

Early this afternoon we got above and beyond 40ºC (over 100ºF). So caipiriñas were a must.
That's lemon/lime juice, ice and 3 oz of cachaça which is just Brazilian rum. This particular bottle is literally just $3 and it does the trick nicely. Bacardi white does the trick. Just add lime juice and a couple spoonfuls of sugar.
Now that's the evening an apéritif is welcomed so I went for a traditional Negroni.
That's one measure of each (1 Gin, 1 Campari, 1 Vermouth).
The buzz has been constant for this last Saturday of the year.
