Bought a single for War On Drugs this Friday. Have to rectify the past mistake I made when I chose a different show that was in town the same night as them the last time they came through Dallas.
Happy Winter Solstice! It's about to be 83 in Dallas on Christmas Day.
As the parent of a teen, it's the small victories you have to enjoy. Like getting the Mitski tickets your older child wanted that sold out pretty quickly. I'm sure she'll think I'm the worst tomorrow but at least for today I'm okay in her eyes.

Have to brag on my youngest. She wanted to get me a Christmas present that she knew I'd "really love". She bought me a desktop record holder because she knows how I like to organize what records I'm going to play for the day or week. She's such a wonderful, thoughtful child.
