Gah! I've been able to give a few albums out today a listen, and there are like 7 more I want to listen to. Too. Much. Music.
One thing I really miss about grad school- being able to say things like "whoa, that's a Pedro Páramo reference!" and having anyone in my vicinity know what I'm saying.
I'm glad I waited to give All Mirrors a first listen on vinyl- this is an album deserves to played loud.
Since I'm mostly failing at my goal of having fewer opinions about things, I guess I'm just gonna have to settle for not sharing my opinions about most things most of the time.
Weird realization: If given a chance to meet most of the people I admire, I'd probably decline, because my admiration is domain-specific. I admire musicians for their music, authors for their books, scientists for their research, and I realized I care very little about the details of their lives or what they're actually like in person. I just assume all public performances/interviews/etc. are public personas.

Finally taking the step of permanently deleting all my deactivated social media accounts. All I have left is an Instagram I'm not sure I'll keep, and Goodreads...
